These Terms govern your access to and use of volAgent: this developer site, the volAgent API, the MCP server, the Excel add-in and related services (the "Services") provided by VolFront LLC ("VolFront"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If your firm has a signed agreement with VolFront, that agreement governs where it differs from these Terms.

Keys and accounts

Access requires a volAgent key issued to your firm. Keep keys confidential, do not share them outside your firm and tell us promptly if one may be exposed so we can revoke it. You are responsible for all activity under your keys.

Permitted use

Use the Services only for lawful purposes, within your firm's entitlements, rate limits and quotas. Do not copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, sublicense or reverse-engineer the Services or their data without written permission, and do not attempt to access data or keys that are not yours.

Market data

Some data is licensed from exchanges and other providers and is subject to their terms, including professional and non-professional status. Access may be limited by delay or entitlement as those terms require.

Intellectual property

The Services, including content, software, analytics and documentation, are owned by VolFront or its licensors. No rights are granted except as set out in these Terms or your firm's agreement.

Not investment advice

The Services provide information and analytics for research purposes only, not advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Options involve substantial risk. See Disclosures.

Changes to the Services

We may change, add or retire tools, datasets and endpoints. We aim to give notice of breaking changes to versioned interfaces.

No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VolFront and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid VolFront in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify VolFront against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or revoke keys, or end access, to protect the Services, other customers or our data providers, or if these Terms are breached. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
